Hilde Lemey, Initiator and project manager Volunteer from Flemish Brabant. Is already working more than 3 years in the secondary schools of the Afghan refugees
in Pakistan. Has initiated and implemented several “Teachers without Borders” projects among which schools for
the animistic Kalasha in the Hindukush. She has field experience in Ukraine, Pakistan, Afghanistan,
Azerbaijan and Albania. Fernand Dhondt, Initiator and EurAsia watcher Volunteer from the Antwerp Kempen (Flanders); has 40 years of experience with the former Eastern bloc (EurAsia),
fluent in Russian, good notions of the Tajik language (Persian) and several other Slavonic languages.
Managed projects in Siberia for the indigeneous peoples and in the Ukraine. Ensures good communication with
the local population and authorities. Mirzoyev Saifiddin, Yaghnobi academic and professor at the the Rudaki institute of
Language and Literature, attached to the Tajikistan Academy of Sciences in Dushanbe.
IInitiator and driving force behind the association "Renaissance of the Yaghnobis".
Will be responsible for editing textbooks in the Sogdian language for the Yaghnobi schools, for the
construction of the boarding school and the organization of a library Dirk Nieubourg, Project Support Will support the project by contacting companies, associations and anyone who could sympathize and
stimulate them to set up fund raising activities.
